What is EDTA Chelation Therapy

Chelation is the “chelating” or the removal of excess minerals and metals including artery plaque from the body, it is used for cleansing the arterial system of calcium and cholesterol build up and metal toxicity. 

By taking a course of EDTA Chelation these excess materials are dissolved and passed through the urinary system and expelled from the body.

What is Cardio Renew EDTA

Different Types of EDTA

Specifically for cardiovascular disease Disodium EDTA (ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid) is the EDTA preferred. This EDTA was used in the Tact Trials and is the same EDTA as Cardio Renew.

So Why is Disodium EDTA Preferred?

Disodium EDTA attaches to calcium deposits and heavy metals on the walls of arteries and blood vessels and the dissolved material passes through the urine.

CALCIUM disodium EDTA is wrongly taken by many people for cardiovascular problems as having added calcium is counter active and it will NOT pull calcium out of the system but may help extracting some heavy metals.

Absorption of Oral EDTA Chelation Therapy

Absorption is key to the Chelation process, it has been proven that tablets and capsules only have a 10%-20% absorbency rate. Liquids provide up to 95% absorption, up to ten times more than pills or capsules as stated in the Physician’s Desk Reference (page 1542) The absorption of EDTA into the body is paramount to achieve the desired results.
